MK Quinlivan is a simple lad with a huge imagination and a love for fun fantasy with a splash of romance. Raised in West London, he sees inspiration everywhere, especially in the city.
Now living in Essex, his love of people watching helps to develop ideas for fully-realised, if sometimes quirky, characters.

Being part of the LGBTQIA+ community, MK knows how important it is to see representation in a world where it is scarce. Even in today's media, with the alphabet mafia popping up seemingly everywhere, it is still only represented by less than 1% of media coverage, when the truth is they are approximately 10% of the population.

This is why MK Quinlivan writes novels that, although not directly about the LGBTQIA+ community, represents them in a truthful and honest way.
The novels, therefore, may have gay characters as the protagonist, maybe a Trans side character or non-binary villain. This is not the main focus of the stories, but is a big part of representing an under-represented community.
